" Once, Parvati asks Shiva to chose the one form among her 10 forms which he likes most. To her surprise, Shiva reveals that he is most comfortable with her Kali form, in which she is bereft of her jewellery, her human-form, her clothes, her emotions and where she is only raw, chaotic energy, where she is as terrible as time itself and even greater than time "

hi...
this week i made Kali. Kali comes from the Sanskrit root word Kal which means time. she is normally depicted as black..the literal meaning of word kali . To me she symbolizes strength ...feminine strength. so hail to woman power...may this world become a safer place for us and our lil girls... may people see us not as commodities or things but recognize our inner strength which is the most important thread that binds the society together. Kali
