that green thingy at the bottom of the page is something i have seen in my childhood... it was called `hold all' and that was what it use to do precisely. back then all journeys were incomplete without this...while packing up for this trip...i was reminded of this oldie...hence here it is .

wreaths

hey i hope somebody missed me out there....i did`nt blog last week ;)

this week i had a blast making wreaths...yup was totally hooked onto them.
i love making everything that involves making flowers and leaves...so wreaths it is. so here they are...lovely watercolor wreaths.

patterns

i love making patterns....i use them all the time in my paintings...they can be any mark , dot, flowers, leaves, faces, lines...just about anything.
this week i was feeling rather low..no inspiration ;). then i decide to practise my patterns...nd they came out rather well ...considering i was not really trying to paint....i hope i get out of this mood soon .
 so here are my patterns...i hope u guys like them

i started with regular pen on paper...its actually no stress painting with pen for me...i love doing it...just free flow.

the of course i have to pick up my brushes and paints...no matter what i cant stay away from them...even if not in groove .

hibiscus

Every few weeks i go crazy about Hibiscus :). this season my garden is full of these beautifully red hibiscus flowers and no wonder i painted them again.. and i am blogging about them again.
i have a bad habit of buying stuff and not really using them... i mean i wait for some special occasion to use them. i don`t know what i wait for :). Now i bought these exquisite watercolor paper sheets almost six months back. But i have been saving them for some `special day'.finally i decided this week, that special day is never going to arrive,today is special and i m going to paint on them today. i took them out and painted beautiful red hibiscus on them...and they have come out pretty well... hope u guys like them as well.

lets welcome him....lord  Ganesh (also spelled Ganesa or Ganesha and known as Ganapati, Vinayaka and Pillaiyar)  the Lord of Good Fortune who provides prosperity, fortune and success. He is the Lord of Beginnings and the Remover of Obstacles of both material and spiritual kinds.

i painted Ganesha this week ....We (those from this side of world) are preparing to welcome him for ten days of festivities (its one of my favorite time of the year). i love the whole vibrancy,the color,the feeling of hope,happiness that somehow pervades the atmosphere. i have tried to bring that to my painting.hope you guys like it .  :)

                  hi everyone....somebody requested me to paint some stones for them...so this week started with that  and  as i like to put my finger in too many pies at the same time... i started a big painting and a repainting an old one (it was not finished i felt ).
But all that hardwork was fun..i really hope to see the smile on my painted stones recipient`s (;) ) face.

its that time of the year again...when we (we living in this side of world) celebrate sister brother love. as i have blogged number of times that i have been truly blessed to have my brother`s in my life...for me this time is truly sentimental.We are all now separated through distance..but all of us do remember the amazing growing up years we had together...which forged one of the strongest bonds i have in life. this bond has been thankfully strengthened by our amazing spouses....thank you guys...love you all :D

hi, this week i painted and painted... and i am making an effort right now to leave my paints and brushes..to blog ;)...some days its just like this and i love it :)

i have started (yet) another journal to practice my lettering. i started first with alphabets only ..but then  decided that it was not so much fun without any birds... so added birds to my pages. i got to alphabet C only...but i kinda like the slow pace :).

curiously i have discovered that i don`t like lowercase alphabets ...and they have not come up so nicely too in my journal ;)

cakes

hi, I cannot bake a cake...I just cant. It's not that I have never tried..but I am simply unable to bake a decent one.My friends tell me.. I have to follow the receipe to the T...I can`t . In life too I have a free thinking mind...I cant follow anything just because it is written so ;). Anyway, I cant bake cake...and my dearest friend baked some for me:).  U can always count on such friends. So i painted cakes for her...so here`s for u 'S' :).
