i had  to paint them sometime..succulents. my love for them is growing by leaps and bounds . i love my collection echeveria is increasing steadily...lil echeveria babies are coming out. :)

so here`s my succulent painting for this week :).

i also painted succulents in patterns in my small art journal :)

this week i am sharing a page out of my journal which i did a few weeks ago.i was slightly discontent...so i made this up..

although this is what i dont feel right now ;)..love is all real :D.

i also made a few abstract flowers...which turned out pretty good ..i hope u like them too :)

two pages

.......two weeks...yup thats the break i took from blogging....but here i am with two pages...i had promised myself that there`ll be multiple posts by me this week...to make up for the last two weeks...but that didnt happen either...coz all my paintings are midway... :)

well...hi...i wanted to write about dual nature that each one of us have...v have a people face and a private face...all of us...and usually both of them are nice...but i am not a write/author....i paint...
 so here are my two pages ...both of them hugely different from another...in terms of technique,paints,concept...but both are still me :) i hope u like them

hi,
  this week i worked on paintings which are meant as gift for a very special friend. Painting this week has been a revelation...i started of with something very different but the whole process went through loads of changes and i finally came to this quote (which i totally love ).

Art is something very personal...close to your soul..you cannot share it everyone.

a musician told me that..and somehow i relate to it. if i share a peice of work i feel like i am baring my soul to all.i do share my artwork but not all ;)

so here i am sharing another slice of my soul...hope u like it :D

moon

hi everyone,
     there is something magical about moon...its craters,lava basins ,hollows and highs - all tell a story. how do i know about it...my husbands new telescope ;).
and after seeing Saturn on it the moon doesn't excite me anymore ;)..... only just enough to paint it magically.

this week i painted blue ocean,my magical boat and magical moon. i hope you guys enjoy my muse for this week as much as did while painting them :).

      the moon was painted by my lil girl...all textures..all colors belong to her :)

the stitches are all crooked but done lovingly and with loads of interest by my lil girl :)

hi everyone,

the days when i have ideas flowing in my mind and my brush/pencil working exactly the way i want them to, are my best days. i had such fun filled week with my art journal. Fortunately everything turned out exactly the way i wanted ;)

hi everyone,
  Succulents...gorgeous  plants...pleasing to eye..easy maintenance and i am totally in love with them :) my succulent collection is increasing slowly and steadily .few days back when i came back from my vacations i found my lemon septum all gone...only the stalk remained .two days back what i found has been pure joy to my eyes...when i thought i had lost it completely...it started regrowing with new buds coming out yeeeee :)

hi everyone,
 finally i get timeeeeee.....time to paint and inspiration and the mood ;)
i try to paint daily  almost...but all i paint is sometimes not in shape to show...so when finally something comes up which i can share i get excited :D

i totally believe in the quote above that i shared...my mind it knows this fact...but when i paint i love to paint gods which symbolize something to me. Buddha to me means inner peace. i love to paint him always. Rumi is my favourite poet.. i love what he says. So here is a page from my art journal where i painted Buddha with Rumi`s sayings in background . i hope u guys like it :)

 The pink lotus flower is perhaps one of the most celebrated flowers that there is. It is considered sacred, and it is associated within the highest realms of Buddhism, with the Buddha himself often depicted with this plant.

hi everyone,

i was travelling...:)
past few weeks have been utterly delightful...i traveled from beautiful snow capped mountains full of rhododendrons to sand and salty sea . the views were marvelous and the time spent together was precious as always :).
