festival of lights

In each of us, two natures are at war – the good and the evil. All our lives the fight goes on between them, and one of them must conquer. But in our own hands lies the power to choose – what we want most to be we are.”

hi....i wish everybody happy diwali..the festival of lights :) . it symbolizes victory of good over evil....i truly hope we win over the evil inside us !!!
i made Rangoli...i admit its amateurish   and i did'nt do it all alone...and the idea was not solely mine...but it was the only creative thing i did whole week....and only one i wanted to share with everyone ;)
i hope u guys like it...:) . (Rangoli, also known as Kolam or Muggu, is a folk art from India in which patterns are created on the floor in living rooms or courtyards using materials such as colored rice, dry flour, colored sand or flower petals.)

made this one full of powdered colours in front of my house

made an eco friendly rangoli inside my house.....i used flowers and leaves from my garden to fill it up :)

                                                                  PEACE

the empty diyas in centre waiting to be filled with oil and lit up....brightening our diwali :)
