project with my kiddo 2

last night my little girl made  roses and the arranged them in a pot. it was her idea..i tried to put my own views sometimes..which she patiently listened and then went ahead with her own ideas :)..
but it was fun and she for busy for few hours.so here we have our prettily potted roses .

warm colors cold colors

I was trying to teach my six year old about  the warm colors and the cold colors. Art is all about doing and showing not only telling ...so i ended up painting the pages of my sketchbook with buildings. i have not been completely honest with theme ...here  and there one will find a warm color amongst cold color...but thats only teeny weeny straying.i hope u like them :)

My six year old loved the effects of the colors and i had such fun making these.....they added more beauty to my sketchbook .

orcha trip was an unexpected trip.i had two days off from my work...the whole family was there..so v thought lets go and visit the place.to be honest i expected nothing beautiful from that place.but i was pleasantly surprised...there were beautiful buildings..views everywhere i turned my head.the chatrees there were the most beautiful sight to behold but small bits of buildings splattered around the landscape were not any less pretty . here is one set of those buildings for u .

project with my kiddo

almost every week i take up a project with my kiddo......sometimes its my idea...sometimes its hers....but v have fun and definitely learn something along the process :)...this weeks project was buildings !!

nest eggs

paint my photo...one of the best ever painting groups i regularly visit.Recently the loose watercolor group  posted a challenge on it about the nest eggs.One could paint any kind of eggs..with birds ,without birds,with chicks,without chicks .I love birds and anything related to them.This challenge excited me so much that the night before starting the painting i went in my mind how i would go about it. And taa la laaa here is the painting i made for the challenge..i hope u like it as well :D
